Chelsea owner prepared to ‘destroy’ major European club

Chelsea has been having a few problems recently, with injuries to key players that have clearly taken their toll on the team that Thomas Tuchel has.

Of course, many can point to the squad and say that it is incredibly talented across a variety of positions and argue that they have more than enough quality to produce, however it would seem the Blues continue to struggle despite the strong argument.

Indeed, the club has lost the likes of Ben Chilwell and Reece James to long-term injuries, with both the full-backs having been influential when playing. Now, they have to make do with sitting at home and logging onto the rivernilecasino website as they look to progress with their recovery.

Edouard Mendy has also been unavailable recently, although it would be hard to criticize any of the results to have been achieved by Chelsea recently on Kepa Arrizabalaga, as the Spaniard has been brilliant between the sticks and the goals conceded so far in the Premier League would have been hard to stop by any goalkeeper.

Others simply have not stood up and played to the expectations that many would have had, which is perhaps why Roman Abramovich could be prepared to put his hand deep into his pockets once again.

This time, though, he could be prepared to ‘destroy’ one of the biggest clubs in world football at the same time, according to a report by El Nacional.

It has been claimed that the Russian owner could look to exploit the financial woes that FC Barcelona currently finds itself in and look to take three of their most important players away from the Nou Camp and bring them to Stamford Bridge instead. Indeed, the woes that the La Liga side has will not be solved by those who use casinos online, although it could be a good way to bring in some much-needed financial revenue.

The report states that Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, and Sergino Dest are all rumored to be of interest, with Abramovich appearing to be particularly invested in trying to capture the Dutchman.

De Jong is a player that has largely been a first-team regular at Barcelona since his 2019 move from Ajax, however he has had a difficult time and could become available after no longer being deemed an ‘undisputed starter’.

Gavi is a youngster that seems to have the world at his feet, however the Spanish side could lose him for just €50 million due to a release clause in his current deal; one in which the club has failed thus far to extend and the Blues see it as an opportunity.

Lastly, Sergino Dest has been identified as a player who could become a suitable backup to James in defence, with the American currently having fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp after Dani Alves returned to the club.
