On Saturday in the Championship, an odd goal ended up as the decider in a close game as Blackburn Rovers defeated Swansea City 2-1 (1-0).
The match was goalless until Blackburn Rovers took the lead in the 36th minute through Sam Gallagher, who scored.
Straight after the break, Ben Brereton found the net and increased the team’s lead.
In the 52nd minute, Jamie Paterson scored, to reduce the score for Swansea City. However, Swansea City were unable to make more of an impression. The 2-1 goal was the last goal of the game.
Blackburn play Middlesboro away on Saturday. Swansea will face Sheffield Utd at home on Saturday.
