Data Pack: A draw for Ecuador in their home game against Peru

Ecuador drew 2-2 (2-0) in their home match against Peru in the Copa America group B.

In the 23rd minute, Ecuador took a 1-0 lead through an own-goal.

Straight after the break, Ayrton Preciado made his mark and increased the team’s lead.

In the 49th minute, Gianluca Lapadula scored a goal, with an assist by Christian Cueva, to reduce the score for Peru.

The team equalised to make it 2-2 just five minutes later as Andre Carrillo scored a goal, with an assist by Gianluca Lapadula, what brought the final score to 2-2.

With one game remaining, in the qualifiers Ecuador are in fourth place in the table and Peru are in third.

On Sunday, Ecuador face Brazil and Peru take on Venezuela away.
